Amos won his first Challenge Certificate at Birmingham National 2001, judge Mr. Richard Gilbert, His second CC was awarded at The Scottish Kennel Club 2002 judge Mrs. Veronica Ross. His title came under Mr. Geoff Place at Birmingham City the same year. Amos has amassed a total of 24 Challenge Certificates and holds the male breed record for CC’s won. He went Best in Show, Hound Association of Scotland 2004 under top all rounder Mr. Andrew Brace. Best Veteran in Show Darlington 2006 under top all rounder Valerie Foss. Amos finished off 2006 winning Best in Show at the Basset Griffon Vendeen Club championship show, under breed specialist from USA Mr. Jeff Pepper, and Best in Show judge from the Netherlands Mr. John Hiddes. Amos went BOB at Crufts in 2004 & again 2008 as a veteran, after which he retired from the show ring.
