Gwen had a fantastic start to her show career taking the Reserve Challenge Certificate at her very first show Hound association of Scotland under top all round Eleanor Bothwell from the Minor Puppy Class, handled by Blake. She has since taken 4 more Reserve CC’s but went one better at Bournemouth under another Scottish top all rounder Ann McDonald winning The Bitch Challenge Certificate on the day. Gwen Took her 2nd CC at BHC of Scotland 2011 under breed specailist Sandra Thexton. 2012 started really well with Gwen taking the Res. Bitch CC at Crufts under top all rounder Zena Thorn-Anrdrews. This was followed at her very next show Hound Association of Scotland with the bitch CC & Best of breed under breed specialist Jan Price passing the vet health check on the day (first basset to do so) and so taking her title of Champion. The very next day at the Hadrian BHC Gwen gained her one over the top taking her 4th CC under another well respected all rounder from Northern Ireland Phil McGarry Arthurs. Birmingham Nat. 2012 Gwen took her 5 CC with BOB. under alround judge Diana Spavin with Kennel mate Switherland Stage Struck taking his 3rd CC & title of Champion on the day.
