Switherland & Montravia came together in 1999, Phil specializing in Basset Hounds & Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens & Marita Standard Poodles.

Our sole ambition is to breed health quality puppies that conform to the breed standard laid down by the Kennel Club.

With the Standard Poodles, Marita campaigned and handled the world famous Ch & Int. Ch Huffish on Every Street#1 Standard Poodle UK 2007

Then his son Ch Kertellas on Easy Street at Montravia #1 Standard Poodle UK 2009.

Marita’s most memorable achievements are winning Best in Show Crufts on 2 separate occasions.

We pride ourselves on the rearing and temperament of our puppies whether people have a show dog or a nice family pet from us, its temperament and health are our priority.
