Eric started his show career very well winning his first 10 classes. He achieved Best in Show at the Basset Hound Club Open Show 2012 from the puppy class under well respected judge Judith Armstrong. He followed this by taking Best puppy in breed at Crufts 2012 under top all rounder Zena Thorn Andrews
Eric took his first Challenge Certificate at Hound Association of Scotland 2012 under breed specialist Mrs Jan Price @ 13 months of age. beaten for BOB on the day by his kennel mate CH Kinleebrae Guinevere. Eric's 2nd CC was awarded at Southern Counties 2013 under well respected hound judge Patience Waldren his litter sister CH Switherland Red Image took the bitch CC.
Eric's Champion title came fittingly on the green carpet at Crufts 2013 under breed judge Mr Ron Parker.
